However, he later shifted his focus to creating art driven by personal experiences, blending romance, humor, and melancholy. His work, which often explores the complexities of masculinity, aims to present it with tenderness and vulnerability rather than politicising it. Jackson’s deep love for oil painting allows him to craft emotionally resonant, provocative images. His talent has been recognised with several accolades, including the Northern Beaches Art Prize, and his work is featured in private collections in Australia, the UK, and France.
